When we look at Jesus we see that He pursued His Father’s purpose for His life and all around Him. He acted in humility, with integrity and love. His heart attitude was that of servanthood. His priority was serving the Father, releasing Him to serve others.

If you’ve decided to make Elim your home church then we want to release and empower you to serve God through this local church.

We believe in allowing people to achieve their full potential and experience their God-given creativity. We believe in building the church together. Together is an important word – think about how you can fulfil your own personal dream and also compliment the corporate vision that we have.

Where Can I Play My Part?

There are so many areas in church life that you can serve:

• Administration
• Catering - including Sunday evening team
• Connect Groups
• Children & Youth Team (this is subject to a CRB check as standard)
• Cleaning
• Counting Team (Sunday evenings)
  
• Gardening
• Maintenance, tradesperson, decorating
  
• Marketing & Publicity - including flier delivery
• Information/Resources Desk
• Welcome Team
• Worship Team (musicians, singers, choir, stage management and design, audio and visual production)
• & many more!

Look at your strengths and skills and think how you can best serve. The key to our success as a church is if everyone plays their part and does not leave it to someone else. Our attitude determines our altitude!
